Product details

The transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device that accepts input from a 3300 NSv proximity probe and its matching extension cable (5 meters in length available). The transmitter converts the signal into the appropriate peak-to-peak vibration amplitude in engineering units and provides this value as a 4-20 mA proportional industrial standard signal to the user as input to the control system.
In the control system, mechanical protection alarms and logic are triggered.
Key features of the 990 transmitter include:
Integrated Proximitor sensor, no external devices required.
Non-isolated "PROX OUT" and "COM" terminals, along with a coaxial connector, provide dynamic vibration and gap voltage signal outputs for diagnostics.
Non-interactive zero and range potentiometers under the transmitter label support loop adjustment.
Test input pins for quick verification of loop signal output, using a function generator as input.
Fault/Signal failure circuitry prevents high outputs or false alarms due to proximity probe failure or loose connections.
Optional DIN rail clips or mounting screws for simplified installation.
