The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Sensor System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contact vibration measurements. 3300 XL 11 mm proximity sensor system with 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contact vibration measurements on fluid membrane bearing machines for non-contact vibration and displacement measurements. 11 mm large tip allows this sensor system to be longer linear range than our standard 3300 XL 8 mm sensor system. It is primarily used in the following applications that require a longer linear range applications with longer ranges:
- Axial (thrust) position measurement
- Differential slope expansion measurement in steam turbines
- Rod position or rod drop measurements in reciprocating compressors
- Tachometer and zero speed measurements
- Phase reference (Keyphasor®) signals
