The 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System is specifically designed for use in applications with tight installation requirements, such as centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other machinery where space constraints are a concern. This system is ideal for scenarios where counterbore, side-view, or rear-view restrictions prevent the use of standard 3300 and 3300 XL 5 mm and 8 mm transducer systems.
The 3300 XL NSv system consists of three key components:
A 3300 NSv probe
A 3300 NSv extension cable
A 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor
This system is particularly suited for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). Its compact design and advanced capabilities make it a perfect choice for fluid-film bearing machines with small shafts or reduced side-view access.
