The 990 Vibration Transmitter (Part number: 990-05-70-02-00) is designed primarily for OEMs of centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, or fans. It provides a simple 4 to 20 mA proportional vibration signal as input to machinery control systems. This 2-wire, loop-powered device accepts input from the 3300 NSv proximity probe and its matching extension cable, which are available in 5 m and 7 m system length options. The transmitter converts this input into a proportional 4 to 20 mA industry-standard signal for the control system, where machinery protection and alarming logic occur. It also conditions the signal into the appropriate peak-to-peak vibration amplitude engineering units.
