Functional Description
125736-01 is a Communication Gateway I/O Module developed by Bently Nevada. It functions as a ModbusRS232/RS422 I/O Module. With the exception of the primary value Modbus registers, it supports the original 3500/90's communication interfaces, communication protocols, and other features. Itincludes a Configurable Modbus Register Utility, which can provide the same functionality that the primary value Modbus registers did.
Features
The Modules support extensive communication of all rack monitored values and statuses for integration with process control and other automation systems via Ethernet TCP/IP and serial (RS232/RS422/485) communications.
It can also communicate over Ethernet with 3500 Rack Configuration Software and Data Acquisition Software. The RJ45 Ethernet connection is for 10BASE-T star configuration Ethernet networks.
With the exception of the primary value Modbus registers, the 3500/92 supports the original communication interfaces, communication protocols, and other features.
Outputs
OK LED Indicates when the system is operating properly.
TX/RX LED Indicates when the system is communicating withother modules in the 3500 rack.

Input Data Types
Data from other modules in the rack is collected via a high-speed internal network, such as current measured values with time stamps, module statuses, and current alarm statuses. The exact data types returned are determined by the module type and channel configuration.
Update Time: The data collection rate is determined by rack configuration, but it will not exceed one second for all modules in the rack.
