Product details

The 3300 NSv probe and extension cable are mechanically and electrically compatible with Bently Nevada’s previous 3300 RAM proximity probe and extension cable, making them interchangeable. With enhanced chemical resistance compared to the 3300 RAM probe, the 3300 NSv probe is suitable for many process compressor applications. Additionally, its side-view characteristics outperform those of the 3000-series 190 probe when gapped at the same distance.
For the 330851-04-000-015-10-01-05 model, the minimum standard X-Y probe configuration distance is 30 mm (1.2 in), while for X-Y proximity probes offset axially by 23 mm (0.9 in), the minimum distance is 20 mm (0.8 in). When measuring shaft diameters smaller than 30 mm (1.2 in), close spacing of radial vibration or axial position transducers is often required, which may create potential challenges in measurement accuracy.
Features
The 3300 XL probe is built to last in the hardest steam turbine DE settings. It can work continuously and accurately in temperatures as high as 200 °C , and it can resist intermittent high temperatures as high as 250 °C . The 25 mm probe has a front and rear seal that, when combined with the FluidLoccable (which is standard on all 25 mm probes), keeps moisture out of the probe tip.
On the probe and extension cable, special high-temperature connections are also standard. To keep the connectors free of contamination, each probe and cable come with connector protectors and a disposable connector protector installation tool.
The probe lead's ClickLoc connector incorporates a detachable collar that allows the cable to be routed through tight spaces.
