The 330909-00-60-10-01-05 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System is designed for use in centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other machinery with strict installation requirements. The system includes a 330909-00-60-10-01-05 3300 NSv probe, a 3300 NSv extension cable, and a 3300 XL NSv proximity sensor. Its primary applications include restricted installation areas, such as locations with reverse mounting, side view, or back view constraints, and small target measurements, making it ideal for measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 inches) and axial position measurements on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 inches). Key uses of the system include radial vibration and radial position measurements, axial (thrust) position measurements, tachometer and zero-speed measurements, and phase reference (Keyphasor signals). The 3300 XL NSv transducer system is also capable of replacing the 3300 RAM transducer system and the 3000 or 7000 series 190 transducer systems. Upgrading from a 3300 RAM system to the 3300 XL NSv system can be achieved using existing probes, extension cables, and monitoring devices.
